Tom Verheyden’s journey in hospitality began at the renowned Hotelschool Ter Duinen, where he built the foundation for a career defined by precision, creativity, and a relentless pursuit of quality. After graduating, he immersed himself in the world of fine dining, honing his craft in Michelin-starred restaurants and developing his palate, eye for detail and the art of creating memorable experiences. 

Tom’s love for coffee began unexpectedly on a weekend trip to Paris, where he had his first encounter with specialty coffee. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a passion, leading him to explore the artistry, culture, and science behind every cup. This passion carried him across the globe to Japan, where he trained at Tasse Coffee Roastery, further refining his skills and embracing the discipline and philosophy that shape Japan’s world-renowned coffee culture.

Today, Tom brings the same standards of excellence from his fine-dining background into Koji Coffee, offering a coffee catering service that goes beyond the ordinary.
